Visit capital city of Phnom Penh, see the magnificent Angkor Wat and Royal City in Siem Reap. Great extension tour with short flight from Vietnam and Thailand.

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, guide transfer to hotel.
Morning tour visit the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both, a grim reminders of Cambodia’s bloody past under Pol Pot. This site may prove distressing for some but it is an important piece country’s historical and cultural puzzle.
Afternoon, tour visit the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art – notably sculptures – throughout the ages. Lastly, tour visit the Wat Phnom Temple, where you can enjoy a sunset view over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh.
Transfer to airport and take flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival pick up and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, tour visit the floating village of Chong Khneas and take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of time visiting the “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.
Today we visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom – The South gate, Bayon, Baphuon, the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper king. Next its on to temples of Angkor, the jungle temple of Ta Phrom, with is dramatic overgrowth of trees and vines. In the afternoon, take a boat trip to see the amazing floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake.
