Meet tour guide at hotel in Seoul. Leave for Gongju and Gongsanseong Fortress, a mountain castle which was established during the Baekje Period. Next, experience the tea ceremony with a Buddhist monk at Magoksa Temple, a representative temple surrounded by a mountain and rivers in Chungcheongnam-do Province.
After breakfast, transfer to Jeonju, home of Korean culture and tradition. Visit the Jeonju Hanok Village, a traditional Korean town with about 700 preserved traditional houses. You can learn the Korean Traditional Tea Etiquette & tea tasting. Transfer to Jinan and visit Tapsa Temple at Mt. Maisan. Tapsa Temple has 80 large stone pagodas that were built by Gapnyong Lee for world peace 100 years ago. Transfer to Gwangju (2 hrs).
After breakfast, transfer to Boseong and visit Boseong Green Tea plantation. Transfer to Suncheon and visit Naganeupseong Folk Village. Naganeupseong Folk Village is located inside the castle. Usually Villages are placed outside the castles, but due to frequent enemy attacks the castle was built around the village. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visti Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park. Suncheonman Bay is one of the World’s top 5 wet-lands. You can hike 40 min to get the top of the observatory where you can see the beautiful reeds. Transfer to Yeosu for overnight.
Afere breakfast, enjoy a cruise ship to enjoy a beautiful scenery around Odongdo Island in Yeosu and then transfer to Jinju and visit the Jinju Castle, where Korea and Japan had a fierce battle 400 years ago. Transfer to Busan, the second largest city & the largest port in South Korea (2 hrs). Visit Dongbaekseom island and Centum City Shopping Mall, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest department store.
After breakfast, transfer from Busan to Ulsan and visit Ulgi Park, littered with rocks carved into interesting shapes by the wind and ocean. Next, explore Bulguksa Temple, the representative relic designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in Gyeongju. Explore to Gyeongju National Museum, Tumuli Park and Cheomseongdae Observatory.
After breakfast, transfer to from Gyeongju to Andong and visit Andong Hahoe village, home to descendants of the Ryu clan of Pungsan and well-known for its traditional houses. Then, transfer to Wonju and visit Hanji Theme Park where you can get a chance to experience the Hanji making process. Then, transfer to Pyeongchang.
After breakfast, transfer from Pyongchang to Gangreung and visit Jumunjin Seafood Market, including a variety of fresh seafood caught on the East Coast. For the next stop, transfer to Yangyang for a short hiking at Jujeongol of Mt. Seorak to enjoy the nature. After the tour, transfer to Seoul (4 hrs). End Service.
